Will you try Paul McKenna's "I Can Make You Thin" Program?!

Question: I just watched the first episode and it seems interesting and all, but isn't it bad to eat junk food if that's all you like? Your cholesterol level would probably go through the roof!

Either way - I'm willing to give it a shot. I like healthy food, after all. Who's with me?

I watched this episode too, and was intrigued.

If you want to add me, please do as I am going to try it as well.

Good luck and happy "thinning"... LOL

And I think as we learn more about the program we will begin to understand how to avoid "junk foods" and enjoy healthy foods.

Edited: I did a search in yahoo answers and there are tons of questions about his program. A thought that came to mind - do what works for you out of the program because I don't think that there is any set "fool proof" weight loss system. What works for you will not work for me - you get the jest. and maybe combine it with other weight loss programs. we are used to over sized servings of everything so we don't "know" what a healthy serving is. How much is 4 ounces of meat protein? (you'd be amazed just how small that is!). How much is a serving of cereal? (again - wow! its about half the average size bowl! which we normally FILL up making it anywhere to two to three servings!)

I think this is a great approach to weight loss as it is true if you deprive yourself from the foods you really enjoy, you will binge and eat everything in sight and do it as he says "unconsciously". I have already lost 40 lbs on my own and I think this will be a great way to give me more tips to help with the last few lbs. I am anxious to see next weeks episode on emotional eating, as I think that is an issue we all face....atleast I do!! It's nice to hear someone saying eat what you want but do it in a smart way. I'm glad he doesn't say you have to starve yourself of the foods that your really enjoy. I will be tuning in for the next episodes in the weeks to come to see what he has to offer to us. I hope you find this helpful!! Good luck!!

Yeah, when I heard him say that, I was like "no way, chap!" I was a skeptic after that. I will try it thought. I'm afraid to eat what I want, because I know I'll eat it ALL. Even if I eat is slowly.

I guess the idea is to eat slow, so you don't consume too many calories of what ever you're eating. He also said something about your taste preference changing as a result of eating the bad stuff slowly. I hope I start preferring ONLY fruits and veggies.

Any way, good luck with your life.
