What is the best machine to buy to work out?!
Question: I don't have much money, but I was wondering, what would be best? A treadmill, an elliptical, or an exercise bike? It's awfully hard to get motivated to go out and walk in the winter!!! Just wondering which would be the best for a full-body workout, at the best price. Thanks :)

It really depends what you like the best, because even if someone here suggests a good piece of equipment, and it turns out you hate it and will never use it, then it doesn't matter too much!
My mom found luck with a stationary bike, and she could still watch tv and ride without having to go too crazy with the resistance and all that. IT depends what you like. I personally hate running and ellipticals, so I am biased.
Often the YMCA in your neighbourhood can provide lower rate gym memberships, especially if you are cash-strapped. You should try a "free pass" day at a gym, and try out all the equipment to see what you like most.
FInally, buy it used!! Don't buy brand new. You can always get used equipment someone else has tired of, either through a pawn shop, the newspaper, or online.

The best one is the one that you like the most, and will use around 4times a week. I personally hate treadmills, but if that's your gig, DOIT!
I think that the Bowflex is the greatest fitness investment as far as a home gym. Even if you have to save up for a while, it's worth every penny. And like the person before me wrote, just wait until someone else gets sick of theirs and buy used, the Bowflex is built great. I've been using it since June and it's changed my life and hasn't aged a day.
