Which is better for loosing weight?!


Question: Walking(fast) for about two hours and burning 1000 calories

or running for 1 hour and burning 600

I know cardio is supposably best for losing fat, but you burn more calories walking for 2 hours so which should I do for best results?

Personally, I would say whatever is giving you better results. If you are burning more by walking and have the time to do it, then I would go with the walking. I usually walk around 1 hour at 3.5 on the treadmill and this seems to be effective for me.

run for 2 hours

I really love doing ellipticals, it's not hard on your joints and it gets your heart rate up but as far as that ^ I would say walking is better on your joints and depending on the size of your chest better for your neck too

why not try skipping? lol it's all good.

the running is going to get your heart rate up and you will continue to burn extra calories long after you are done, but if you are willing to spend 2 hrs walking, why not run for the 2 hrs?
