Ice is not a good idea, as it can damage and potentially freeze the tissue. Ice will also shrink the blood vessels so when you do remove the ice and your skin gets to room temp it will seem MORE painful. Cold water is much better.
Cold water is better.
yes, ice is what you need. underneath the skin, it is still on "fire" and thats the hurting feeling, aside from everything else. put the ice on there as long as you can. you'll thank me later!
well since you burned your skin anything touching it may hurt very bad. If it is boiling hot make sure your skin isn't peeling. see a doctor to get on antibiotics to keep from infections and pain meds if necessary. For the time being 3 motrins 200mg should help with the pain. If it hurts so bad that you think ice might help i wouldn't put pressure onto the wound since it might stick to it and peel it even more. Good luck i no how painful that might be!
lol Yes
ICE but not directly on the injury to prevent frostbite. Put a wash cloth under the ice leave on 20 minutes of 20 minutes on 20 minutes etc
No, do not use ice. Ice damages your skin more and you can get burns from ice as well. Just run the tap water over the effected part.
KY Jelly helps too.
always on Bern yous ice water ,or a ice,it helped the damage skin and aria from soul's, Oslo.slow down the pain,
