What do I do about lacrosse practice tomorrow? (Im out of shape).?!


Question: Ugh... High School Lacrosse conditioning starts tomorrow and I have gotten out of shape. Quite frankly, I am scared out of my mind. It will be grueling conditioning and ugh. I just need some tips to get me through the 2 weeks of conditioning. Please help...ASAP! I will best answer the best answer.

I've been in that situation before. All you can do is work as hard as you can. Believe it or not, you'll probably be in better shape than you think. As long as you outwork everyone else you'll catch up in no time. It's all about how bad you want it. Whatever you do DON'T STOP CONDITIONING. It's so easy to get lazy and fall right back out of shape. Make your life easier and run on the weekends so when Monday practice rolls around again you feel great like usual.

Well if it's conditioning then not everyone will be in good shape. The season hasn't started yet, so you still have time to become a fabulous lacrosse player. : )
If you don't do the conditioning though then when the season actually starts you will be out of shape and regret not taking the time to do it.
I know because before track started they offered "polar bear" (a running club) and I didn't do it, I was so out of shape for track that I ended up quitting since I felt so self conscious.

Just do the best you can. Work on your conditioning on the weekends. Show lots of HEART. Sometimes that makes a difference. Have a good attitude
