Can resistance bands widen your chest or back?!
Question: I've been weight lifting for about 5-6 months now and even though I see definite differences, I don't see much "width" wise.
I'm thinking about buying a resistance band but I'm not sure if that would help me widen my upper body.

I've never used resistance bands, but I assume they probably work ok. I would recommend dumbell flys and chin-ups to widen your chest and back. Chinups are especially great at giving your lats that V-shape that bodybuilders go for, and flys will develop your outer pecs, including that stretch in the upper area below your front shoulders. It's also a good idea to really attack your shoulders, doing lots of heavy presses and lateral raises to help with the V.
At the same time, I'm not sure what your body type is, but aerobic activities are great for burning fat, which will shrink your waistline, and make your torso appear to flare out a lot more.
it will but only slightly...u need to work out loads and be eating 2500 calories per day and lots of protein shales are good too...x
bands can increase strength but if u want a wide back then pull-ups are the key. Pull-ups in various positions creates a powerful back and to top it off, just hanging on the bar creates a great stretch in the spine and decompresses the spine to sustain a healthy back.
