Losing Weight and doing exercise?!


Question: Im 15, and I have always had a weight problem since I was like 9. But I have never been REALLY over weight, until now i think. I weigh lik 228 lbs, but I don't look like I weigh that much. I am tall and stuff.

I want to lose weight now, because I don't like being like this. I started eating less and I have lost probably like 5lbs. I notice my stomach smaller than it used to be. But I want to get better results, because its been months, and i know the only reason I am not losing a lot of weight is because I don't do exercise.

So I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on types of exercise I can do indoors, because I don't like running outside, and letting people watch me. I dont know why, but I just don't like it. So thanks guys for any help you give me.

why not ride your bike outside? It would seem normal? I ride my bike at least 12 miles each weekend and I am seeing great results. I have lost over 30 pounds with exercise and diet. Also, to tone your muscles try push ups, sit ups, use dumbbells if you have any, etc.

Or buy a treadmill or those indoor bike things. Their isn't much aerobic (fat burning) exercises for indoor.

Try eating healthy (obviousely). Just go outside and run around..I don't like to have ppl watch me either but I'm going to have to start sometime.

I'm 15 and I weigh like 126...and to me I feel/look not the best. I read online something that might help you out..I know I might try it..


Instead of eating 3 meals a day, try to eat 5-6 Small meals a day. By eating more frequently, there will be less time between your meals and less chance you'll experience such intense hunger. I guess that eating more frequently can also help raise your metabolic rate. Which is good to loose weight fast!!


And to have a healthy diet, maybe try and record everything you eat, making sure that you write down all the carvbs that each food item that you intake is on the paper and limit yourself to the same carb amount a day to keep everything balanced.

Try an exercise dvd. Aerobics, tae-bo,boot camp dvds, things like that.
Or maybe take up a class like martial arts?If you do a beginners class everyone will be at the same level and you won't look silly!
