I need to lose 90 Pounds- Is two hours/day 5 days a week too much working out?!

Question: I am finally going to lose alll of the weight I need to to get to my perfect weight- I am 5'11", 275 pounds, and I want to get to 185. I drink tons of water, eat healthy and watch my calorie and fat intake. But, I want to start working out for 2 hours instead of 1 hour, 5 days a week. Is that too much, or just enough? and can anyone give me tips?

Just don't overdo the exercises. Dont go too hard as it takes some time to get back "into shape". Give your body time to adjust to the weight loss gradually. I agree 1-2 pounds a week is plenty, although you may lose more in the beginning.

Better to go slow or you will put it all back on. If you give yourself a year as a goal it should be fairly doable. Aim for 10 pounds a month but don't be sad if you're not there. What matters is that you are doing this for a long term life change which will keep you healthy and strong for a long time to come. Just eat well, lots of greens and veggies and fruit and keep the protein to chicken and fish wherever possible.

Once you start eating well you won't be able to even STAND the stench of fast food, and my stomach can't even digest it anymore it physically makes me sick.

No, that is not too much of a workout.

You need to be realistic im sry but thats not gonna happen in 5days! thats too much just eat right and exerisise daily! spread ur meals out too

i exercise 2 hours and 30 miutes everday........... so i really dont think 2 hours is enough if u want to loose 90 pounds

No, but i suggest not losing more than 1-2 pound per week, anything more than is considered unhealthy.

no. but its enough.

Yes, you are also training your body to store fat, since it will get used to the constant demand and begin to pull the survival of storing fat. Go to
http://caloriecount.about.com/ to first determin your ideal weight, and get some ideas on calories you are currently consuming. Make yourself a diet containing lots of raw natural leafy foods, and some protein...if you buy a ten dollar book called the Zone it will give you a diet for life.
Then work out in short bursts of 15 to 20 minutes every day, coupled with yoga for flexibility toning and strength. You will find that you are at your ideal weight in no time.
