What are some good exercises for a 10 year old?!


Question: I'm not really that healthy and I want to exercise more, what are some good exercises I can do? I'm 10 years old but I turned 10 years old exactly last week. Please help, thank you.

Cardio and only cardio. Resistance training is horrible for a young body and can seriously stunt your growth. Stick to a healthy diet and try to jog 30 minutes 3-5 days a week. Thats really all I can give you for now.
Try swimming, bicycling, running, boxing (not contact, just the workout), jump roping, etc...

Ten year olds are NOT ALLOWED ON YAHOO ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND IF YOU WANT TO BE HEALTHIER, STOP PLAYING WEBKINZ SO MUCH AND GO OUTSIDE!!!!!!

just try being more active with your friends 10 year olds are usually pretty active anyways

walk walk walk especially with friends because the time passes more quickly ! its excellent exercise for someone your age.
even taking up a new sport, its almost softball season and soccer season, so try those ! at your age, exercise should be more fun then grueling.
