Dude, to see results you have to follow a balanced-diet, train hard in gym (just 1 hour) perhaps 1 hr - 15 min.. but those 15 mins, its to warm up and stretching muscles only.
You have to STOP eating junk food, flours, beer, cigarettes, soda pop.
And START eating properly following a balanced-diet prepared by a professional not for friends nor family.
Sleep well, and go bed early 9-10 pm.
Get GOOD discipline! Be serious while you are in the gym. Lift heavy and don't CHEAT! 'YOURSELF'
You've to be so disciplined and get courage while you working!
I've been working for a while I'm 24 years old. and I've shown better results in less than 7 months with people that have been in the gym around 3-5 years.

P.S. This is NOT EASY AT ALL especially in the damn Diet that you have to follow, I've been eating so damn chicken all day 7 small foods everyday so much chicken, tuna, fruits and vegetables, milk, and water as multi vitamins too. About complements I recommend you Soy Protein from Met-RX.
