MUSCLES! How-to and how long till I notice?!

Question: I dunno, this might sound stupid, and i know that lots of things factor in, but how long will it be until I start seeing a difference in muscle mass?

I just purchased a Bowflex home gym and Im doing alot of Bench Presses and other stuff DAILY, I wanna know, how long will it be, about, until I will see the results?

Say you do an average amount of bench presses daily, whats the longest it will be till I can see a difference??

ALSO, any recommendations on building muscle mass?? (quickly?)

Thanks!

You will start to feel a difference within a couple of weeks, it could take a little longer to actually see results.
I would focus on other exercises than just the bench. If you are doing it daily than you could possibly be over training, you need to give you muscles time to recover.
My recommendation to gain muscle mass is to take in as much protein as you can daily while you are working out.
1 gram for every 3 pounds of body weight

really soon

don't exercise daily, it doesn't give your muscles time to rebuild. and don't use a bowlex, use a real bench. but i'd say it would take you a few months till you see some improvement.

recomendations, go to an actual gym instead of a bowflex

If you don't include a rest day. (days you don't lift) you will be in a constant state of tear-down and won't grow, and maybe even hurt yourself....slow down a little. If you bought the entire machine you have a nice set up....use all of it. Work only two muscle groups at a time, but to exhaustion, then don't work that group directly for at least 2 days. working it only tears it down. Muscles repair on your day off. If you work it right and your diet is good you'll see results in as little as 2 to 3 weeks. Don't rush it. You can't put an addition on your house, by yourself in one day...give it some time.

well it will be a while if you work the same muscle group daily. you need to let your muscles rebuild themselves. you can speed the process up by taking protein. protein will give food to your muscles and allow them to rebuild. then take creatine before you work out to give your muscles more energy to work longer/ harder. bowflex is a resistance machine. it will help you get cut but it wont necesarily add to your mass. after you have reached a tolerance level, your muscle mass will stop increasing while using the bowflex. the best way to get more muscle mass is to use free weights.

make sure you take multivitamins, drink at least 64 oz of water a day and eat healthy, but definetly eat.

work out a max of 5 times a week. focus on the quality of reps, not the quantity.

First, blow out the muscles by doing high reps at low weights. Give the muscles time to heal and grow (a few days) and than start doing regular reps of about 15-20 at medium weight. This will deifine you. You will see the shape and cut of the muscles. You don't need HUGE muscles unless you plan to use them. But the ladies FREAKING LOVE to see the defined lines that prove muscle is there. Keep it steady and studly, not massive and unnecassary.

i dunno but here is a tip if u do the same exercise day in & day out your body will no longer feel as if it were a challenge and it WILL stop workin
