Weight loss HELP! 10 points.. easy?!


Question: I am 5'7 and I was 143 lbs at the beginning of the month

After about a months time I am now at 137 lbs.

I cut out ALL soda or any drink with calories.. I only drink flavored water, water, or diet sodas (hardly ever though)

I also cut my calorie intake from about 2-3000 to only 1000 - 1200 cals a day!

I am stuck now! I do not seem to be losing anymore.. What should I do? Any advice???? Do I need to cut my calories more!?? Please let me know, thanks in advance!

P.S. I would like to get down to 120, or 125 lbs by the end of february (which probably is not possible)

well according to the listed website, your healthy weight with your height should be 133.... just think low after you start to lose weight it slows down so be happy... only 4 left to go! just keep doin what your doin, except try having 6 healthy balanced mealish meals a day.... i do that, and im 123 lbs!!! (5'11) keep a postive mind, though, most importantly!

Exercise
Replace your office chair with an exercise ball, you can bounce in place using your legs to make you bounce, you can rotate the ball with your a s s (dont turn your upper body) sort of like you're doin the twist, all while working. Another thing if you drink coffee, if you add stuff (sugar, milk, creamo, anything) you gotta look at the calories in that stuff too.

Sounds like you just need to exercise more :)
Jogging and swimming are good.

You shouldnt eat any less than 1200 calories a day because that will decrease your metabolism. And you should work out.

Try eating several small meals a day, and eat as soon as you get up in the morning. This'll get your metabolism going and keep it going.

Try cutting down on your carb intake too.
Anything with lots of carbs isn't something you should be eating if you're trying to lose weight.
But in all honesty, you don't really need to lose it.

Swim, theres nothing else i can say. Its so self explanatory. I eat like theres no tomarro yet i still stay slim and in shape because i swim

Diet alone only goes so far.

whether you like it or not, you're gonna have to start working out. If you don't like the idea of a gym, try learning to two step or salsa, those are some workouts right there.

weight lifting helps burn more calories. cardio 3 times a week.

your body isnt losing any weight cuz you dont need to lose any more weight!! and since your not eating very much your body is probably going into "starvation mode". so just chill, but if you really really wanna lose weight...

Try cutting out your sodium, sugar and oils. Don't even use the cooking spray. Substitute salt with Mrs. Dash. Best of luck to you.

You need to exercise. Build muscle ... which burns fat faster.

You can go to a store such as walmart and buy those drinks that make you lose weight... my friend drank it for like 2 months and she lost 35 pounds!!!

Exercise would be your best bet. Personally, the best experience I've ever had with weight loss was running.

you need to take in at least 1500 calories a day, beacause its just unhealthy to go lower. And just burn more calories than you take in, no dieting method is better than that

you don't want to cut your calories down anymore just maybe watch those things that are making up the calories eat lots of fruit and veggies! also you need to do some type of excersize! that will defenatley help you lose more weight! i hope this helps and good luck

130 pound is really healthy for a 5'7 if you were to lose more weight you would be considered under weight
no you shouldn't cut your calories you need a certain amount of calories a day

try working out more like 3 times a week
if you want to lose more try 5 times a week or working out the whole week.

but dont lose to much. cuz 137 is an excellent weight. if you loose way to much youll be under weight and that is way worse than being fat

exercise? and the 1st month is apparently the easiest when loosing weight

I don't know the numbers, but find out how many caloried are in a pound.

Example:

Say 2000 calories is a pound.
You eat and gain 1500 calories.
But, then you exercise and lose 3500 calories.
That means you got rid of what you ate and lost 2000 calories...or one pound.

That's all you have to do!
