no i dont think it will stunt your growth because i drink coffee and i am still growing but i could be wrong because my sister is 4'11 and she has been drinking coffee since she was 10. Their are other options that coffee like drink decaf or drink drinks which are healthy like gatorade, fuze, vitiman water and other energy drinks. I u need a lot of energy try red bill but that tastes really bad.

Good Luck stay awake in school!

I doubt it will stunt your growth. I've been drinking coffee easily since I was 14 and it didn't stunt mine.

yea as long as you dont drink too much of it

One coffee every two days? Unless you're talking a triple-shot I can't imagine it being any worse for you than all the caffeinated sodas kids much younger than 14 drink. Not that I recommend those, but you aren't talking about very much caffeine. Plus coffee doesn't have all the sugar & carbonation.

One parental-type word of caution: if you need coffee to stay awake, you probably aren't getting enough sleep. Turn off the TV. Turn off the iPod. Turn off Yahoo Answers. ;) Get some sleep. I bet you anything sleep deprivation will stunt your growth more than any one coffee every other day.

Coffee probably won't stunt your growth, but there's always other effects ;) Some reading for you:

As far as health issues go - please don't go drinking rounds of straight espresso 3 times a day, or a variant of that ;) Caffeine can be addictive, and harsh on your body. Working at Starbucks, I see caffeine addicts all the time, and people encouraging their children to consume 400 calorie Caramel Frappuccinos... One more thing to consider - calorie intake with that coffee. Don't over do it :)
