i run. a lot.

and i eat a lot of carbs. and vegetables.
no red meat. no sweets. no sodas.

but seriously, just run. running burns a lot of calories and works a lot of your muscles.

Excersise

elimanate soft drinks
it helps a lot

Try weight watchers or calorie counting Cut your calories to 1200 a day

i mustrubate i am not joking
i walk a lot
dont eat MC donalds

Check out weight watchers -- I lost 60 lbs on it and kept it off for five years.........you get to eat good food.

keep busy. If your busy then you will less likely think about food & burn more energy.

I haven't yet, but I want to get the LapBand procedure.

I lost weight working out 2 hours at day and with a non carbs diet.
I lost like 80 pounds or something

I got a Physically demanding job and worked my *** off, i also rode my bike to work every day, i ate whatever i wanted and i lost 30 pounds in 2 months!!!

i cut out fast food and began eating mostly salads. i stopped drinking soda and juice, only water. i stopped eating candy, chips, etc...and i started working out every morning before school. it took a while, but was worth it. i lost over fifty pounds, and counting! becoming a vegetarian last year helped also.
good luck!

i lost 17lbs in about 2 months bt skipping breakfast and cutting portions

I didnt!!=[ but im still trying!!=] and u dont have 2 give up either. ALSO DONT STARVE URSELF 2 DEATH JUST 2 LOSE WIEGHT!!thts all i can tell u srry =[

you should eat sensibly and work out once a day. dont over think it. just live healthy.
drink water
dont eat junk
balanced meals every day
ur mom told u this stuff for a reason, not to sound harsh]
and dont shoot for 20 lb in 2 months, its a tough goal.
just work towards feeling healthier
feeling healthier = more energy
more energy = more intense work outs
more intense work outs = less weight

In 1 month I lost 10 pounds.

I was ate low amounts of saturated fat and low sodium in the products I ate.

I also rode my bike twice a week, each trip was 6 miles for a total of 12 miles a week.

Basically, I didn't eat fast food, canned food, or any other food that is processed completely. Though I did have my fair share of candy... I would eat bad once a week so that I wouldn't give up.

i eat a 350 calories under maintenence levels, and i workout 6 days a week, about a 1g/lb i wieght in protien and you'll lose fat, not wieght.

Edit: OH and DON'T workout as often as i do unless you take rest weeks every 5th week or so i wouldn't recomend it unless you have lots of discipline though, exercise every other day would suit you better, because you don't need to have rest weeks then.

ok so ill go more in depth, eat as often as possible, spread out throughout the day, this not only prevents your body from needing to store fat, but also speeds your metabolism.

Eat a balanced diet of healthy foods, basically anything but sugary foods, fried foods or buttery foods. Keep it balanced with quality fats, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, and omegas. Quality carbs, like 100% whole wheat breads, oatmeal, whole wheat spagetti, etc.. Eat lean meats, or you can buy supplemented protien shakes.

Count every calorie you put into your body.

drink ATLEAST 64oz a day of water.

Avoid soda, it will make you store fat, even if it is an energy drink or says that it's "diet".

Do interval training. which is going from sprinting to jogging back and forth.

It also wouldn't hurt to take a multivitamin.

Good luck, stick with it and you'll end up with the results you wanted.

Edit: use this calorie calculator to find a healthy wieght loss level according to your workout consistancy.

I just ate less, drank more. I did not give up any food that I realy love, I jsut cut the calories.

I love fish and chips but instead of having a whole fish and chips i would only have half.

Increse the vegtables eat more salads, light dressign or the dressing sprits. enjoy the 100 calorie packets.

I use this website: http://www.exercisetv.tv/whatsondemand/m... It has a monthly work out plan that I usually follow. Also, I eat a small amount of carrots and Colly flower once a day with ranch dressing and try to drink at least a bottle of water a day. I don't believe in diets, I just believe in watching watch you eat. Once you get broke into this each day, then you'll probably get satisfied with your weight. But, its okay to have a weakness, because I have to eat some Cheetos every once and a while

I layed onn my bed, ate junkfood, and watched tv all day.

The trick with anyone...is seeing results!!! Basically knowing how great you will look afterward.

Try...

Choosing clothes that you know will look good on your frame after you lose the weight.

planning your hair style

having treats in between

Having Competition is great too

Buying tready fitness wear for each exercise you do....

Its all about owning your workouts too and seeing which ones make you feel good after wards.

But remember to evaluate what matters to you in conjunction with how YOUR body and MIND work within your plan before you start it. Dont just go for what you think will work!

lol answering your question though, running about 3 miles a day, does wonders! on even a balanced diet. mix this with some overall tonning and your on your way. Also if you can excersie once in the morning and once at night, the weight will just drop off!

GOOD LUCK X

u dont need weight watchers or slim fast crap
its expensive and un necessary if u stick with it
20lbs in 2 months is more then most people reccommend but you can do it
get rid of all the junk food you can
drink alot of water and get adequate sleep
sleep deprivation and dehydration stop you from burning more calories which in turn means u lose less weight
exercise daily, miles u cant get an exact ammount because it depends on how hard you run, take in less calories, make sure they are healthy with good carbohydrates not sugars and minimal fats, run daily, dont sit on yahoo answers, and just try to have fun with it, you may not lose 15 in 2 months, its quite a bit for someone who needs to ask how and for soemone who isnt a wrestler. wrestlers will lose 15 in a week its terrible for us too. just diet healthy, eliminate sugars and fats, run daily as far as you can but dont forget if you hurt take a day of rest everyone needs to recover some days
youll be a better runner, in better shape, with nicer legs stomach and butt, and youll lose the weight you want :D

6 300/cal meals per day.

20 minutes of moderate-vigorous excercise every other day.

You wont notice the weight difference right away, infact you'll gain weight because your losing fat but gaining muscle (muscle takes up less space but weighs more that fat).

Don't base your resluts on weight.

Good luck!

I used Atkins diet and lost 14 pounds in two weeks, 40 in 6 weeks and kept it off for ten years. After a heart attack the cardiologist said that all the protein was not good and I had to abandon Atkins for a heart healthy diet which has made me gain wieght. My only recourse now is to cut the amount I eat in half.

Ok, so before you do anything, you should go about your normal day, eat how you usually eat, and do everything noramlly. Take note of how much you eat, reading the nutirician lables would be good too, check the fat content, calories, and sugar. Also take note of how much physical activity you do a day (ex. jogging, or any type of exercise).
Once you have observed yourself, you have to start making the changes. Have any REALLY skinny friends? Compare how much youre eating in a meal to their meal. If they eat a LOT less than you, than you should cut down your food accordingly. REMERBER: DO NOT OVER EAT, ITS BETTER TO EAT LITTLE MEALS, AND TO HAVE MULTIPLE SNACKS, THAN TO EAT TOO MUCH ALL AT ONCE. Also, you should try to eat dinner early, because it gives you more time to digest. The snacks that you eat are very important. Instead of eating potato chips, eat mixed nuts, fruit, or yogurt. Also remeber if you want to have some soda, dont drink diet soda, even if you are on a diet, because diet soda causes throat cancer in labratory rats. So if you drink enough of it, (yea, yea, I mean a LOT) you could end up with throat cancer...So if you remember these tips, you will lose those pounds in a blink of an eye! Hope that helps!

Here are some things that worked for me:

1. Cut out all junk food and all fast food. Don't eat out. Prepare food, including lunches, at home using only nutritious food.

2. Eliminate all soda and juices. Get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not from fruit juices (too much sugar and calories).

3. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

4. Eat a balanced diet following either the US or Canada food guide. Eat at least 1500 to 1800 calories a day. Eat several small meals rather than 3 larger ones. Include plenty of fresh fruit and veggies, lean protein, whole grains, and low fat dairy.

5. Try to walk at least 10,000 steps a day. Get a pedometer to help you figure that out.

6. Always do stairs - never the elevator or escalator, and park at the far end of the parking lot, never close to the door.

7. Start a strength training program.

8. Invest in a mini stepper - I got mine at a second hand store for $4. They don't take up much room, and use if for a minute or two whenever you get a chance.

9. When watching TV, always get up and move around during commercials - but not to the refrigerator of course.

I found these sites very helpful. Good luck with it.

Stop eating or eat correct food. 5 km a day is a good place to start, then gradually increase it to 10. Your 20 pounds will dissapear within 2 months!
