Exhausted....?!
Question: I have a really high exercise load....I workout daily (for about 100 to 130 minutes....combo of cardio and strength), walk and jog a lot (probably at least 2 hours of brisk walking and/or jogging most days on top of workout), and do yoga for 1.5 hours a few times a week. I'm also pretty active at work (sort of waitress/kitchen hand, so serving, table service, loads of cleaning etc).
Anyway - usually I feel fantastic, but for about a week I've been getting to about 3pm and feeling exhausted and kind of sick....anyone got any ideas on how I can start to feel on top of my game again??? I'm worried that my diet might be lacking in something....anyone have a recommended eating plan for such a high activity load (I'm 20 y.o, female, 5'4, 115lbs, about 10% body fat). Usually I eat:
B'fast: BIG bowl of special K with a sliced banana (no milk)
Lunch: Small tub of diet yoghurt with fruit salad and some muesli on top
Arvo snack: 4 wholegrain crackers with vegemite
Dinner - meat+veg or salad

When your body sends a message of exhaustion to your brain, it is for a reason
