It did not get there overnight and will not disappear overnight. Monitor and adjust your intake with eating. Take walks after meals. Do not eat late. Try bicycling or swimming.
You can do sit ups along the way to firm up the abdominal muscles... Five pounds is only a pinch and you can do it in no time!
Don't forget to check with your doctor ;-)
join a gym!
one with an aerobics class or some other kind of class! It is a great workout!
Also, cut down on the unhealthy foods like chips and deserts!
Every night, I do a couple hundred crunches too.
