I feel extremely discouraged with my results from exercising for the past two mo!


Question: I'm running 30-45 min and lifting weights 20-40 five days a week, keep a strict diet. I only lost 15 lbs in 3 months. Why is this I am getting so frustrated. ANy advice?

Not all weight melts off. 15 lbs is good, it takes time, which sucks but is the truth. Ask someone how they think you look, we really dont give ourselves enough credit. Betcha someone else thinks you look great.

Dont forget you can be gaining muscle mass thats why your not losing as much weight.

the lighter you are (less your weight is) the harder it is to lose weight. and if you are lifting weight, you should be gaining muscle mass, which weighs more than fat.

How well do you lift weights? I am not being mean or anything, but you need real intensity to actually get a superb weight loss. I understand that you may be new to lifting weights, but a fast and furious attitude is the one that actually shows results. And I need to see your routine to tell you if you are losing weight from lifting weights or if you are gaining muscle. Just tell me how many reps you do and with what weight.
