Does brown sugar contributes to weight gain?!

Question: I'm really hungry now. I'm planning to drink milk. But I can't drink milk without any sugar but I'm on a diet. So is it safe for me to use brown sugar instead of white?

Too much of ANY sugar will sabatoge your weight loss goals. Sugar can turn into fat as well as add calories you dont need with no nutritional value. milk actually already has sugar in it. If your hungry, go grab your self a nice sweet apple, as food satisfies more than a drink, An apple has fiber and vitamins and will fill you up and satisfy that sweet tooth you apparently have.!!

NO. All forms of sugar contributes to weight gain. Milk already has natural sugar in it. If you are on a weight loss diet, 1/2 a small glass of milk is the equivilant to 15 gms of sugar. (1 serving).

Try a glass of WATER, or a piece of meat to get past the hunger pang.

Investigate a "low carb" diet for weight loss. It works.

Brown sugar is as high in calories and carbs as white sugar as a matter of fact it may be worse. Try Splenda if you like to have sugar in your milk. It is as sweet as sugar but no calories.

No. Your body doesn't know a brown sugar calorie from a white sugar calorie. Don't have the milk either. Drink water.

brown sugar is actually reject white sugar and sprayed with molasses.
i like the taste of sugarless milk, get use to it, especially the non fat milk.
if you're intention is to get calcium, limit the intake of meat to 3 matchbox size per day or excess of protein contributes to the excretion of calcium leading to osteoporosis.
and then if you're lactose intolerant, there's a drug called "lactese" that you can take before consuming milk products. however, others can cope well with dark chocolates.

Just a bit won't hurt ... unless you have diabetes.
