Going overseas- How can I avoid weight gain?!
Question: Hey people =] I'm 15 and I'm going to Vietnam this year with my family. I eat very healthy food and exercise often so I'm kind of worried that I'm going to end up gaining weight when I go. I mean, holidays usually mean a lot of food right? My parents are both overweight and don't really give a crap about diet or exercise so we're going to be doing a lot of eating.
Can anyone tell me what Vietnamese food is like? Advice on how I can eat healthy while on holiday and not gain any weight?
Thanks.

At 15 you are burning calories like crazy. Don't overeat and you should be fine. If you do put on a few pounds you'll take it off quickly when you go back to your normal eating habits. Just because your parents overeat doesn't mean you have to do so..... You will want to try "new foods" while you are there but you don't have to overdo the portion size. Have fun!
Vietnamese food is very healthy and not very fattening. If you look at the people who live there, they're usually not obese. That only happens with American food.
just watch your diet while over there
To tell you the truth. I have never met or seen a fat Vietnamese person in my life. So it shouldn't be a problem.
lol
I LOVE Vietnamese food. Mostly it's got a lot of sauces and spices, but it's not fried like Chinese food, and they use a good deal of noodles....
