19 yrs old - gained 21 lbs in 2007, What should i do?!

ok in the beginning of 2007 i was 119 and now im 140!!! i just can not control my eating.. could this be from taking birth control pills? i started taking them in April 2007. but 21 lbs seems way to much to gain from the pills.

should i see a counselor?! this has made me extremely depressed for months now.

You do not look fat at all in your picture if that makes you feel any better.

well, if i were you i would go to an overeaters annoymous or talk to your doctor about not being able to control your hunger. it could be medical or mental. then you can try a counsler. maybe you are very stressed. i go from two different extremes when nervous or stressed. either i eat to much, dont eat, or just like throw up. so deff make sure everything is okay. but dont just ignore it.

ur overweight, so u should do something, see a counsiller, or a gp, ask THEM, if u huge weight gain is to do with the pill ..

well some of it is deff from the pills! you gain weight while on the pill. and from overeating is the 2nd reason. i have liek no self control but rly think about the consequenes before u have a minute of cookei heaven. only a minute!!
1.eat 1500 calories of healthy food. eat abotu every 3 hours
2. do cardio! start off 1/2 hour 5 days. then after 1-2 weeks, 6 days, then after that week increase the time by 15 minutes until youre doing 6 days and 1 hour of cardio
3.tone your bod!!! do some kind of toning,liek yoga pilates,strength training 3 days a week. after 2 weeks aim for 4 days. denise austin dvds are GREAT!!!

first of all, youre gorgeous.
second, 140 isnt that much for a 19 year old. Try working out. It may partly be the hormonal inbalace from the pills though. (ask your doctor).
if it gets outta control see a nutricianist.

Forget your bc (birth control pills). We all take 'em. You have to think about what you've been doing differently since the beginning of 2007... it's eating more, right? Once you change your routine (aka by moving around more) those extra pounds will fall off quickly. You are young and you have a terrific metabolism. DO NOT DIET or take pills, or snort coke, or light up a meth pipe. Just move around more. That's it. And don't stop moving once the weight's down. In fact you'll probably want to keep it up once you see results. Go Get 'Em!!

It could be from the pills. Eat fruit and veggies, exercise more.
It couldn't hurt to see a counselor.

Start excecising and drinking more water. You are probably really dehydrated. Lack of water in your body sends signals to your brain that can sometimes be turned into a feeling of hunger. Also if it is right before be that you eat a lot definately have a glass of water. According to a medical studythat tends to cure %98 of peoples feeling of hunger.
