Ok is this good i was wondering?!


Question: Im starting to get into shape. Im 15 years old weigh bout 136 5 foot 5. So I started off walking my old schools track. I walked from 4:40 to 5:21 and I also ran some and jogged some.


Was that pretty good?

You really are not fat at all. You sound perfectly fine. Believe me, I know people that age who are 160 5'5 and don't look all that overweight.
It really depends on how you eat too, just exercising is not going to do it. Plus, maybe try (not right away, but once you get into better shape) running, because walking is kind of low key.
Make sure not to crash diet though-it will only loose you muscle. Also, once you do decide to change eating habits, try strength training too so that you won't risk loosing muscle instead of fat.

You know... at that age there is a lot of pressure to be skinny, my advice would be to get in shape to get into shape... not because of your weight. You will learn that weight means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Exercize for health not for weight...

I would go a tad longer but any exercise is great! It is great that you are getting in shape!

It's fantastic. I would reccomend throwing in other exercises to work other specific parts of your body too. Like for example:

It works your entire body, you can do it outside (during your usual workout), and it's only 15 minutes!

Remember to switch up any work out (including the one you're doing now) after awhile, because your body gets used to it, and you stop losing weight.
