Yes, if you put in the time and the effort you will get the results. I suggest you research different abdominal exercises seeing as sit-ups may strain your back.

Yeah, they'll work your abs...but you'll never see them unless you lose the fat surrounding them. That's gonna require an exercise program than boosts your metabolism to burn fat.

How do you do that?

Resistance training + intervals + simple, solid nutrition (key!)

3-4 days of resistance training/intervals and eat 5-6 meals each day of protein, fruits/veggies, good fats, and lots of water.

Keeping things simple like this help you focus on working harder instead of pushing back results by trying to get "smarter". Cool, huh?

They work your abs, but as far as losing the belly fat, your better off focusing on your diet.

I would also try some other abs exercises.
