Question: Ok well I'm a cheerleader and I want to get some abs because our tops are really short. My stomach is flat but doesn't have abs. I have been doing 50 crunches a day is that a good amount or too little? What do you think?

i would say go for 100-200. that is what i am doing and i am also trying to get abs.

don't do crunches, they're so boring and doesn't really work! Run, swim, etc!

Push ups and butterflys will help

Do leg raises to target your lower abs and do side bends to target your obliques, and do sit ups instead of crunches. Do 4 sets of 15-20 reps for all of these exercises and you should be able to get some nice abs. Add some cardio to burn off any excess fat and you'll get that definition you want for sure.

Workout like a Spartan. They invented the six-pack. You want abs, do 10,000 situps. Abdominal workout should not be FUN it should be Torture!
