I need to gain weight!! how?!


Question: i have tried many ways, from taking vitamins to working out. from having cheese in my meal at night to adding up one more portion of my meal a day.

is it genetic thing????

Under normal conditions gaining weight is not much of a problem, (getting rid of it is!), just eat, and eat more in a healthy way. Vitamines are not for gaining weight, they perform other great functions in our organism; you should consume calories. However there are medical conditions that would be causing this abnormality. Pathological problems like anorexia, pituitary gland not functioning properly, just to name a few, what is causing the condition could be many reasons, just like a chronic headache. If your problem is serious ('cause you don't mention how bad it is), you should consult a professional dietician or a doctor to diagnose the root of the problem. But don't give up every thing has a solution. My problem is to keep my weight in check.

consume more calories than you burn. lifting weights will help build muscle which will then add weight. the best things to eat for gaining weight are pastas, rice, and bread (anything with lots of carbohydrates). just don't eat fast food or junk food to gain weight, thats not the kind of weight you want to add on. good luck!!!

why don't try eat something and maybe you will gain weight

You need to drink oil, eat pig grease, and eat Wendy's everyday, get Large sized fries with honey mustard. Mmm mmm mmm!

increase the amount of calories you take in daily. also decrease your cardio workout. there is a really good website that may help you .

It depends on your genetics and how old you are. If you are still fairly young and trying to have a body of an older man or woman, your going to need a time machine to speed up your age process. Your body will only naturally gain the needed weight it needs. It is funny, when I use to go to the gym and wonderd how those older dudes where so big....its because they ARE Older...now i'm that older guy, and the younger people, unless they are genetically gifted, will have to wait it out...so enjoy the ride and do the best with what you have now...: )

pretty much the only healthy and attractive way to gain weight is to lift weights eating junk food will just make you fat and no girl likes a fat guy you gotta stay muscular and lifting weights will boost your metabolism and in turn you could eat whatever you want and not gain any weight

Perhaps plenty of nuts might help as they contain about 700 calories per 100 gm.
