Cut back just a little at a time. I don't know a way to avoid at least a little bit of a headache though. One thing I have done is to switch to a decaffeinated soda for awhile. It has a little less caffeine.

stop and suffer the headaches for a while

ease yourself off it

Mix your decaf with regular for a while.. use less reg, more decaf. Try drinking water instead of coffee, which will help TREMENDOUSLY in the headache department all on it's own!!

.

Cold turkey is not good. You will need to taper off. Determine how many caffeinated beverages you drink a day and start cutting down by 1/2 beverage every three or four (or seven) days, and replace each drink with extra water. It will take time but you will have a much better experience.

Stop and suffer, if you don't get better go see a docter.

lol i got the same problem and what i've done is simply ordering tall in a vente cup at starbucks and putting TONS of half and half in it so its not as much. i cant really tell the diff

You can gradually wean yourself from the coffee then start on weaning yourself on cokes, chocolate, Mountain dew contains as much affine as five cups of coffee so stay away from it. It jumps your blood pressure up and is bad for your heart. Same thing goes for power drinks.

A co-worker of mine quit caffeine. He missed about 3 days of work because the headaches were so bad. But now that he's off the stuff, he says it was one of the best decisions he's made. Go cold turkey, and start on a Friday. You'll have a miserable weekend, but the first few days are the worst. It does get better, and it will get to the point where you won't miss it.

try snorting meath, then take some sleeping pills (2), then do meath again and then take more sleeping pills, go for a run ( no less then a mile ) then take 2 more sleeping pills...you should be able to sleep ;) Good luck

depending on how much coffee u drink u could always take a cup away like say u drink 5 cups now u could cut it down to for or less. its just an example but hope it helps

Holy withdrawls Batman. Seriously your headake is sinus problem, caffine is an antihistomine try sudafed.

i heard that tea has the same or more caffeine then coffee, you can try that green tea that is hehehe

You ought not to drink the coffee, since it give you a ;headache If you love your headache then drink tha coffee.all the time. I dont know how much more serious I can get

I suffer from major headachs if you drink to much caffeine it makes them worse I have quit coffee cold turkey before only do this on a weekend when you have nothing to do cause your gunna be miserable but really it's the only way to get off of it then you can have a small cup a few days later cause you'll prob still have a headach and having a small cup will help by the nest day you should be good as new. good luck!!

Hello.
In my opinion the Best way to cut off caffeine is to fill you schedule til you won't have time to drink things that require prepation like coffee for example.
In addition you can try to drink 7 glasses a day of water and this might help you with your headaches and since you'll understand the benefit of the water you'll omit the coffee.
And one more thing .. sleep well this is one of the most common reasons for headaches.
Hope I've been an aid to you.

Just lower your doses of coffee day by day.
Your body has to adapt so you need to give it time to get used to not depending on coffee.

try diluting the coffee with cream and gradually add less and less coffee. Eventually, it will be mostly milk and then you can switch to water. I cannot tell the difference between regular and decaf, but I guess real coffee drinkers can tell.
