I need a excersice plan for an 11 year old girl?!


Question: i need a excersice plan what loses the most weight....any good plans?

im 11 going on 12 and i weigh 125lbs and im like 4 feet 10 in.

OMG! Ur like my twin or something! I'm 11 going on 12, I'm 4' 10", and I weigh 125!!!! FREAKY! I'm going to start dancing, hip hop, particularly, but I already play softball, football, basketball, and volleyball. I've just gained weight but my doctor says it's normal and if I continue to excercise regularly, i'll be fine. I have a body structure like my mom's, but that doesn't mean I can't change it.

Crazy as this sounds . . . Dance, Dance Revolution. It's fun and it's quite a workout.

Also, trampolines are great.

Just keep it fun, old-fashioned stuff is for old people.

Just stay active, running jumping, being outside staying busy, whether walking, biking, running, just even hanging out with friends, doing soccer, playing basketball. Point being; STAY ACTIVE.

what i do (if your not home-schooled):

beg the pe teacher to let me run the mile instead of doing all the other football, or soccer or hockey or volleyball crap that we normally do

you cant let it affect your grade though, because it will if you take advantage and walk the whole time

you have to try and do theis every day :)

just stay active... i wouldn't worry about an exercise plan just yet. wait until you are fully grown.

Train for a 5k fun run/walk. There are plans on the internet (runnersworld.com) that will give you day to day beginner plans to help you safely prepare. Fun runs are great, They give you a goal to shoot for which makes it easier to train and the atmosphere is always really fun and festive, and let's not forget the t-shirt! Grab a friend or two to join you and make it an event.
