Should I just have 1300 cals, or oatmeal all day?!


Question: Which one will help me lose weight best?
1200-1300 cals a day?
OR
oatmeal and orange juice all day?

(with 1hr and 30 min of exercise)

Oatmeal is good to eat, but it doesn't have close to all the nutrients you need.
You should NOT go on any diet that is just one, two or three foods like you're trying to do.

Eat a ton of raw fruit and vegetables, plus oatmeal for breakfast.
You can get under 1200 calories a day doing that (especially with lots of veggies), and still get all the nutrition you need.

It would be SO much better to do a varied diet and stay in your calorie goal range.

Keeping it "normal" is the aim, a healthy diet is for your whole lifetime.

You'll most likely fail if you do the oatmeal way!

You will need to eat more than oatmeal...
and more than 1200 calories to lose weight.

Especially if you are working out 1 1/2 hours a day.

You need to eat a balanced diet or you will just cause more damage. Sure.. you may lose weight but you will instantly gain the weight back because your body is in starvation mode.

You need to make a lifestyle change and cut out junk food.

you can not just eat oatmeal all day. you need febers, fruits and vegs, white meats to. when eating oatmeal use very little suger, and skim milk
