Is this a reasonable meal replacement?!


Question: i just made a 20 ounce smoothie with frozen strawberries, fresh banana, low fat vanilla yogurt and skim milk. i'm planning on drinking it in place of lunch. does this seem like a reasonable meal replacement?

Yes. It might not fill you up for as long as eating all those things separately but it's still very healthy.

yeah just add a slice/s of wheat bread

sure, you need fruits in your diet and yogurt is good for you, plus you've chosen skim milk (although I'd probably be chosing 2% or real milk) so yes it's a reasonable meal replacement, however, why such a large drink? Why not just 8 ozs?

yea it seems to be good. at a granola bar or something else in the grains categroy. you can also add protein powder to give it a little kick.

thats perfect! thats what i do all the time because it keeps me full and its totally nutritious! good job. but what did u eat for breakfast? if ur gonna do that for lunch, you should have a boiled egg or something for breakfast.
