I am going on a 5 mile walk in 4 months?!

go on the treadmill them for half an hour everyday, start with walking then work your way up to running. once you can jog for half an hour then add another 15 minutes on the bike to your workout.
You'll be fine. Work your way up to walking 5 miles a day.

You need to get outside and actually walk up and down hills to be ready to do this for five miles. Those other exercises will help, but if you don't get used to walking on slopes, it will be too hard on your leg muscles when you do and you will get all stiff after.
