At your local GNC (similar store) there is muscle recovery medication. It will help your body recover quicker.

aleve is best for muscle ache, per my dr. try a warm bath afterwards!

I'm not sure what you can take to ease the pain but its good to be sore! Being sore means you are burning fat and building muscle!

Asprin and a hot bath. Asprin is easier on your system that naproxin or ibuprophen and is still an excellent anti-inflamatory, plus the hot water will help your circulatory system expell the lactic acid build up in your muscles which is what causes the soreness.

Sore muscles are good...After a few days of working out it the aches should ease up...However,streching before and after usually ease the soreness for me. You may also soak in a warm bath with some epsom salt....
While detox diets may work for weight lose, exercise is very beneficial for your health and heart. Good luck...

i found that plain old ibuprofin is best for sore muscles. i tried aleve, and tylonal, but in the end i like IB. im not going to presch but if u are sore from working out, you should cut back a bit on the training. try 2 training days, folowed by 1 rest day, you still get 5 training days a week but the added rest day in between may be the answer

3000 mg of Vit C will help a little but the sorness will go away, sometimes it 5 days or more. the next time you workout the same muscles it will take less time to recover for the sorness.

Don't be afraid to take a day or two off to let your body catch up. Working out can be good and bad. Basically you are breaking down your muscles and when they heal they come back stronger to adapt to your activity. That is normal and healthy. If you take it to far you break the muscle down and then before it has a chance to heal you break it down again. The result is a muscle that is breaking down more then it should and you can injure yourself. My advice would be to take a day or two off to give your body time to heal. I personally only lift weights every other day to give myself time to recover. Good luck and remember, you can exercise to much for your level of fitness!
