If I tested negative for Lupus does this also mean I don't have any autoimm!
Question: If I tested negative for Lupus does this also mean I don't have any autoimmune disorders?
Answers:
do you know the results of the ANA (antinuclear antibody) test, assuming that was done? an ANA test can be positive if there is presence of an autoimmune disease. there are different tests for Lupus and MS, even an MRI to look at the brain. just because you tested negative for Lupus, does not mean you do no have MS. that also does not mean you do have MS either. :) you should talk to your physician about your concerns.
about the miscarriages: i have had many and found out i have a blood clotting disorder, which caused the miscarriages. if your doctor has not done coagulation test, you could ask for them. they are typically done after having more than 2 miscarriages, but not all doctors do them.
