If you have to ask the question then you have already answered your own question. Unless you do what your doctors have told you to do to maintain your diabetes it will do nothing externally for a while but in the long run your body's internal organs are working to do the damage you are not helping them to do. Your illness will not go away and unless you eat right and maintain your sugar levels you can do so much damage to all of your organs that's irreversible and then it's too late.Take it from me, I watch my mother hide her candy in the cupboards, and in places where no one else knew they were but I would find them and confront her but she would laugh it off like it was nothing but after years of doing this, it affected her in many ways that were irreversible. Please follow your doctors advice now, you are so young and you may not live a long life if you don't.
