can your throat be permamently dammaged by being sick?!

i sing and i hope to make it as a signer. i recently got sick halfway through a show i was in and now i scared my voice will stay this way. normaly im bass, barinotne, and tenor and have a wicked awsome falceto but my voice sound awful right now! im still on anti biotics and i still have a soar throat and congestion and stuff (i got a respratory infection and i think amybe a virus. it was earache, soar thraot, congestion, and a fever and coaughing up mucus and stuff). im so unbelivibly scared it may have permanatly ruind my voice, is that possible? my voice is really low both speaknig and singing now and i cant get it back to normal, its all scratchy and my pure sound has been lost
