Question: I have this flem running down the back of my throat, it has a foul taste and smell to it.?
but the last 3days iv noticed flem from my nose running down the back of my throat, i can taste and smell it and its foul! where as usually there is no taste or smell. what could it be?

You most likely have a sinus infection. See your doctor for antibiotics.
ive had a sinus infection.
You might have bronchitis this is a normal complication of the cold. Or it could be an sinus infection like others have said as well.

Your nose and sinuses has been infected. it has been a lot of flem and fighting going on to fight the infection. It is the flem from this battle slowly leaving your sinuses. Rinse through your nose with salted water or/ and nose spray. And do some exercise like sit ups which will increase flem production and the natural draining.
It is important to get the infected flem away so the cold doesn't reappear.

If you don't have a fever and is not feeling sick, it probably is a local virus infection. Drink tea with mint, lemon or eucalyptus. Take c-vitamins and maybe zinc, and see your doctor if it lasts.
