Muscle imbalance important?

muscles on my right side of body, from head to toe , is smaller than the left side.i lift weights but they dont get bigger especially big muscles groups such as legs and back.i often have pain on my right side for 4-5 years now.when i squeeze my back muscles or leg muscles on left side i can feel them,but i cant even squeeze or i cant feel my muscles on my right side,its like i dont have any muscles on my right side.

A lot of people are like this. My right shoulder and bicep is bigger than my left, but its only noticeable when I flex. Its not unhealthy, its just about how it looks. Workout your smaller side a little more, they will even up eventually, but it might, or probably will take a while.
