Question: Am i going to catch the stomach flu? :S scared!?

so im in a residence and i opened the door and a girl was puking in there so i quickly shut it and went to wash my hands after touching the doorknob but was in shock since im afraid of puke so i only washed my hands for 5 or 6 seconds with soap. afterwards it completely slipped my mind and i touched my hair to pull it off my face. i washed my hands after this really well and used hand sanitizer and washed my hair. im a huge worrier and it has caused me to be a bit of a germaphobe. I take immune boosters such as vitamin C, D, cold fx, rhodiola, womens 1 a day pill and fish oil pill. am i going to catch the virus? i didnt touch my eyes, mouth or nose, just the sides of my hair near my forehead..aggh so scared :(

If you are doing preventive measures like washing hands you should be okay. I work in the emergency room and I worked with kids, and I caught the stomach virus 2 days ago. And now recovering from it. I threw 3 times in 3 hours and had diarrhea with chills, the next day I had severe bpdy aches and runny diarrhea all day long, with a huge headache and small cramps. Now recovering I have a sore stomach and no bowel movements. In the beginning I had a low grade fever of 99.9, but went down. Stomach flu is no fun. I slept the whole time and had a hard time eating. I took stomach ache pills and flu medicine and lots of rest. It usually hits fast
