Bump on my piercing, please help?!

I’ve had my tragus pierced a month ago, and just this week, I’ve developed a bump on it. It doesn’t hurt at all. It’s just there.

Anyway, I went to my family doctor and they just took one short glimpse at it and said it was a cyst. They then said to go to my dermatologist.

I thought it was a keloid, since it’s coming right around my earring.

I booked an appointment at my dermatologist but everything is booked up with them and I have to wait a month for my appointment. :(

My family doctor also said to try this cosmetic and laser clinic.

I went there and they only let me book an appointment if I want to remove it. I just wanted to talk to someone about this before doing anything.

The office lady in the front booking the appointments insisted it isn’t a keloid because it only grows on dark skinned people???? She hasn’t even acknowledged my bump.


What should I do? I don’t want to have it removed without knowing what’s going on for sure.

Is there anything I can do on my own that will help it? Is using sea salt really safe?
