My girlfriend developped an allergy to bran muffin. Any suggestion?

She could be allergic to any number of the ingredients in the muffin. Does she make them herself or does she buy them? Read the label, if they are purchased.
Break the ingredients down into groups: fats, sugars, flours, that sort of thing.
I am allergic to corn, for example, and anything that has corn sugar added is also a problem for me, as are corn oil and corn starch.
Take the various ingredients and do a "food challenge". Don't eat any of those ingredients for a few days. Then eat just one of the ingredients for a day and see what the result is. If there is no problem, try it another day. If still no problem, you can probably cross it off your list. Work through all the ingredients one by one. When you determine what the problem is, don't eat that one again.
It can complicate your life at first, but it has actually made mine better. I have lots of food allergies (wheat, corn, milk, caffeine, yeast, nuts....the list goes on) and at first I thought I was doomed. But I eat very healthy now and am in better health than I have ever been in my life. I am 54 and people think I am in my late 30's and early 40's.
