Drink plenty of water... at least the recommended of 8 serving of 8 oz a day. Water does a lot for the complexion. There are a lot of products out there that treat acne. Sometimes you have to go through a lot of them to figure out what works best for you.

Another VERY important tip is... DONT TOUCH YOUR FACE! It so tempting to feel for bumps and to pick at them but resist with all your will power. It only aggravates the acne and makes it worse. Only pop them with you see the white head, and wash your face immediately afterwards. Be aware of when you touch your face, like in class if you are resting on your hands or something like that. Everyone has oil on their hands so its not good for the face. Keep your hands away from your face as much as possible.

I would also apply a masque on a couple times a week. You put in on and wash it off after ten minutes. You can also leave it on at night. If you feel a pimple coming on, apply just a little of it on the blemish. Right when you pop one and wash your face, put some on it at that point as well to dry it up. Id use Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. Its in a green tube and its pretty common. Guys and girls use it.

Also, don't be afraid or ashamed of going to a dermatologist. After a couple years of acne I couldn't get rid of, I finally went to one. They will probably start you out with antibiotics, creams... things of that nature.

I had acne, and the only thing that really kicked the crap out of it was a drug called accutane. It pretty harsh stuff and can have some pretty nasty side-effects and the acne will probably get worse before it gets better. It basically stops the body from producing oil. My face got really dry and my lips would peal. I would always carry some good chapstick and a some lotion, facial and coco butter with me. Coco butter is good for the lips. I kept in a contact lense case (so i wouldnt have to carry around the whole tube). Some people would ache in their joints. This doesn't sound too pleasant, but you take it for about 6 months... and you're done. While you are taking it, it sucks but its totally worth it in the end. Your acne should be completely gone for good, face and back. Some people, like me, have to go through another round of it a couple years later. I just finished about a 1.5 months ago and my face looks great. I've actually gotten compliments. Now I continue to drink plenty of water and use a scrubbing face wash morning and night.

I love to help people with acne problems because I know what they are going through. Ask your parents about going to see a doctor. You are 15 and it might just go away on it's own, so the doc probably won't prescribe you accutane right away but you can ask. Hope this helps and good luck.
