Breathing problems?!

Breathing problems?

Everytime I exercise or do anything strenous/cardio, after about 10mins or so I have a hard time breathing. I start gasping for air and take a break. After a couple mins until i start breathing a bit better i finish my workout. For the rest of the day , my lungs don't feel right. I end up having to take very deep breaths every so often to catch my breath. The next day or the following day, my breathing gradually gets better to the point where I don't need to take the deep gasping breaths. I am 20 years old and I am in pretty good shape so i dont think that its me being out of shape that is causing the problem. I have never had asthma, though on hot days/smoggy days I have to do the gasping thing every so often. Is this asthma or exercise induced asthma? Let me know thanks:)


Answers:

There are various possible causes for dyspneia (hard time breathing), asthma is one of them... Do not take meds without going to a doctor.. Hope you get better!
