Bleeding during sex with Nuvaring?
Whenever I have intercourse in a particular position I end up bleeding, not like spotting but bleeding during intercourse. Is it the ring? How abnormal is this?

I used the Nuvaring for about six months. I didn't bleed with sex but I think it is possible that the ring could cause this to happen. It might be hitting your cervix to much. It is also possible to bleed after sex with out the ring. Did you ever bleed before you started using the ring? Just to let you know, I had to stop using the ring because it made me terribly depressed. I couldn't concentrate, I didn't want to get out of bed, I cried every day, I could not handle stress at all and I almost failed my classes. I immediately felt normal after stopping the ring. Hormones effect every one differently and you might not have any problems with depression, but it is just something to keep in mind.
