How often do you pay attention to your kids's skin?!

Question:

How often do you pay attention to your kids's skin?

How often do you look at their skin, eg smoothness, dryness?
What do you do, and how old are your kids?

Answers:

I have no children, but I am a caregiver and I try to check every day that I work with her. (Just face and arms mostly) I know her mother checks her everyday, since she has to help her bathe. It only takes a moment since it is mostly just looking. If there's something like redness, then ask questions.
Thank you for reminding me, that I also need to pay attention to my aging mother's skin also. I forget that, unless it is bruises or real red. She is still living alone, so she needs me too.
I think little kids should be checked daily, as you bathe them, looking for health issues and also any bruises, etc that might show abuse. After kids are able to talk and bathe themselves, I don't know if it needs to be daily all over the body, but check often. Daily on face, maybe arms and legs, two or three times a week all over. They can be abused by relatives, coaches, teachers, preachers-whoever and be afraid to tell. Also a child could have an infection or a skin problem that they just don't notice, don't mention or think is normal. A little lotion and a lot of love goes a long way.
Also, if you make it a habit, then it would be easy, and make it easier for them to tell you-I hurt here, or so-and-so touched me there. It could really make a difference. Live well.
