As an 18 year old, I believe the last thing he should do is try to pressure her!. Obviously she feels rebellious!. My parents always gave me a lot of slack with drinking and so I developed a sensible drinking state of mind!.

As already mentioned, cutting money supply off is key although if she works full time I dont know how this is possible!. He could just sit her down and have a heart to heart, if my parents did that to me I would listen and trust me, me and my friends are not the nicest kids on the block!. Unfortunately we're the alcohol-binge nation and most 18 year olds drink unsafely!. I saw a kid "strawpedo" down a bottle of white wine the other day!.

My only solution, if a heart to heart fails, is to charge her rent and become more hostile and strong towards her!. If she feels she knows best and is a responsible adult, she can pay for her accommodation and everything else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is pretty hard to put an old head on young shoulders or to live your daughters or your friend's daughters life for them!.
The problem is that sage advice from your elders is often looked on as a challenge to be ignored!. Hopefully her upbringing and her own moral code will see her through this current phase, but sadly there is little you can do to alter events!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Drinking is hard to stop!. He needs to shut off the money supply if tehres any, have her see a pastor or Physiologist!. It's either he goes the hard way now, or wait for a hard-to-live-with result as it it with all alcoholics!.!.!.!.they loose everything from friends, money, family and brain cells!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Leave her to it until she ends up paraletic and vomiting everywhere!. Experience is a better teacher than a parent!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She needs to see the effects that too much drinking would have on her health in the longterm!.
Ask your friend to have a look at this website for suggestions!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe he could encourage her to smoke pot!. Or drink at home and help her to develop safer drinking habits, like eating and moderation!. Discouraging her drinking will only lead to more risky behavior regarding her drinking, like DUI's!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
