How do you keep your blood sugar from crashing at night?!
Question:
How do you keep your blood sugar from crashing at night?
I am trying to follow Wt Watchers and trying to find low point snacks that will help keep my blood sugar up at night. last night I had 1 small bag of pop corn for 1 point and a yoplait sugar free yogurt. At 3 am my blood sugar crashed & I had eaten around 10pm. I also cut my medicine in half at dinner . Maybe wt watchers is not good for diabetics since its hard to stay within points and keep up blood sugar at nite.

I am a type 2. Also for red leaf you could be right about the meds. I take 1 glucophage with dinner every night and no meds before bed except blood pressure. At 3am it was 60 but at 8am it was 161 so I overcompensated like you said. Thanks for the help red leaf

Also I forgot to say that it felt low on the way home last night around 9:30pm so I had yogurt then and popcorn after I got home then bed by 11:30pm
Answers:
lower your evening medicine and eat a protein snack before you go to sleep. milk is a good snack to help you from crashing during the night.
