Has anyone had success in the cpap/bipap business? Any suggestions on how I can start...I am a Resp. Therapist

There is alot to earn in the business but I think its usually Oxygen that keeps those companies afloat. My husband is an RT and works for Apria a nationwide DME provider. I worked for Lincare and a small town provider (I'm also an RT) The small guy seems to have a hard time staying on top because of companies like Apria and Lincare and insurance contracts. And now every company MUST be JHACO certified. I think its too much for one little RT to take on. Why not talk to some docs that have sleep labs and see if they be interested in hiring you to setup CPAP's etc for them on their patients? Be an independent contractor. That might be easier.
