How do you stop snoring??!
Question:
How do you stop snoring??
Answers:
Snoring occurs when your tongue relaxes and falls back into the back of your throat and either partially or fully occludes it. Partial occlusion and loud snoring are usually only mildly irritating to the sleeper them self. However, full occlusion and apnea (when a person stops breathing) is deadly serious. For mild snoring we recommend the nasal strips that open the nasal passages and help to give an alternative route for breathing. Raising the head of the bed by putting a wedge under the mattress also helps. For moderate and obstructive snoring we recommend a full sleep study to see just how bad it actually it is and if you need to use a CPAP or pressure breathing machine at night. Snoring can and has ruined relationships.
