Will hyperthyroidism affect my general anaesthesia?!
Question:
Will hyperthyroidism affect my general anaesthesia?
for a septoplasty (deviated septum correction) operation ?
Answers:
Probably not. If the anesthesiologist knows about it it might affect the dose he gives you.
If anything it will help you recover faster from the anesthesia. Which is a good thing!
I have a deviated septum too but not bad enough to be a problem. It shouldn't be that hard to fix with all the stuff they do these days. Good luck!
