Just glancing at the tables I found, smoker averages are between about 22% and 46% depending on gender & country!.
Nonsmokers however (if I read the table correctly) is only about 10%!. Women however are more likely to suffer lung cancer than men but women are more likely to survive it (probably because they take better care of themselves)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This varies depending on the type of cancer!.
For small cell carcinoma of the lung ( the main form of lung cancer) 99% of sufferers are smokers or ex smokers compared to 1% never smokers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not sure, but smoking related illness (there are a few different things you can get from smoking) are the number one cause of death in the US nowadays!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
