Can a surgeon tell if its breast cancer before receiving biopsy results?!

Question: Can a surgeon tell if its breast cancer before receiving biopsy results!?
Answers:
In my experience, yeah, they know!. But they won't generally say anything without a biopsy to confirm!. The last thing they want is to tell someone that they're pretty sure it's cancer and have the person go through that emotional havok, and have it be one of the cases where they are just plain wrong!.

However, some will say!. My gyn told me over the phone that the radiologist was "pretty sure" I had breast cancer!. I guess it was almost undeniable in my case!. There was a second axillary mass, that's probably what tipped it toward certainty!.

For the biopsy, they should have preliminary results (yes it's cancer, no it isn't) pretty quickly !.!.!. some places on the same day, sometimes it's 3-4 days if the sample is sent to a large lab center such as with Quest or Labcorp!. Further results, such as hormone receptor and HER2/Neu results, can take a few weeks!.

Good luck !.!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure they have seen enough healthy and cancerous breasts they have a good indication!. But since they are medical professionals they would not offer an opinion!. They will wait for a conclusive test result!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I'd look into other treatments if it is infact breast cancer!. First you need to find out your results first!. No one can tell anything for sure without a biopsy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hun they will need to wait for the results to confirm IF it is cancer and what type!.
