I get eczema in my ears!. I have for years!. It itches like heck and the worst thing you can do is poke at it!. The broken skin will take in any bacteria from your finger or q-tip and the ear will promptly get infected!. I have been through it a thousand times at least! I suspect that this is exactly what you have, too!.
Just like any other skin irritation, the most you can do is put on soothing lotion and let it heal!. I hate to sound like a commercial, but I use a homeopathic product that is better than the drops that the doctor used to give me (when it is just an irritation, NOT for when it is an infection) It is called Similasan and they make a bunch of products, but I use their earache relief stuff!.

This fixes my itch and helps heal the irritation!. CVS and Walgreens seem to both carry it!. I don't know whether or not other pharmacies carry it!. I have had this problem on and off for 18 years
Now, having said that, if you get more than an itch or a tiny tingle, then go to the doctor!. Especially if your ear seems to be a bit swollen or becomes more painful than itchy!. Ear infections feel VERY different from eczema in your ear and they come in very fast and go away very slow, even with heavy duty antibiotics!.
